Common topics
Joining a group
The easiest way in is an invite: a member adds you from their friends list or by your username, and the invite appears under Group invites on Join group. Account also lists it under Needs your attention when one is waiting. You can also ask an admin for an invite link, or use Join group with a group ID. Join requests include your availability and activities, and an admin approves before you’re added.
Adding friends
Find friends by username from the Friends tab, or share your profile link from Account. Friend requests must be accepted before you appear in each other’s friends lists.
Voting and things to do
Date voting is free. After a date locks in, anyone can browse things to do, including nearby ideas. Casting votes on things to do needs Link Up Pro, and any member with Pro unlocks voting for the whole group.
Link Up Pro
Open Account, then Link Up Pro. A 14 day free trial is available where the store offers it. Pro unlocks things to do voting and meetup photos for the group, plus trip planning, calendar tools, unlimited groups you create, and groups up to 20 people. Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play.
Trip planning
Group admins can open Plan a trip from the Group card, even if a hang date is already set. Pick a destination, dates, activities, and pace to build a shared trip calendar. Any member with Pro unlocks trip planning for the whole group.
Notifications
Open Account, then Preferences, then Notifications to control categories. You can mute a specific group from that group’s settings. Also check iOS or Android system notification permissions for Link Up AI.
Calendar
Confirmed meetups can be added to your calendar in one tap. With Pro, you can auto add them. Upcoming hangs also show on the Scheduled tab.
Sign in
Link Up AI supports email and password plus Google Sign-In. On iPhone you can also use Sign in with Apple. Use Forgot password? on the login screen to reset an email password. You must agree to the Terms of Service before you sign in or create an account.
Delete your account
You can delete your account from the Account screen in the app. This removes your profile, group memberships, votes, and profile photo from our systems. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Report a problem
When emailing support, include your platform (iOS or Android), app version if known, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots help us investigate faster.

To report child safety or abuse concerns, open Account, then Legal, then Report a safety concern, or read our child safety standards.
