Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Link Up AI mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Link Up AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and comply with applicable laws. The Service is not intended for children under 13.
Your account
- You are responsible for activity under your account and keeping your credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information, including your display name and profile photo where required.
- You may sign in with email/password or Google Sign-In, as offered in the app.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Groups and content
Link Up AI helps private friend groups coordinate meetups. You are responsible for content you submit (names, photos, availability, votes, and messages shared through group features). Do not upload content that is illegal, harassing, infringing, or otherwise harmful.
Group admins may approve or deny join requests and manage members subject to in-app rules (for example, member limits and admin safeguards).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights.
- Attempt to access accounts, groups, or data you are not authorized to access.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by automated scraping or abuse.
- Reverse engineer or misuse Firebase or third-party integrations except as permitted by law.
Scheduling and notifications
Date suggestions, vote outcomes, and reminders are provided for convenience. We do not guarantee that any suggested time will work for every member or that notifications will always be delivered (for example, if you disable them or your device is offline).
Third-party services
The Service relies on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging) and, if you choose, Google Sign-In. Your use of those services may also be subject to Google’s terms and policies.
Intellectual property
We own the Service, including software, branding, and design, except for content you and other users provide. You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant us a limited license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile to group members).
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINK UP AI AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonable.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
